Massage Therapy – Tailored Massage Treatments
A deeply relaxing massage designed to release physical tension, calm the nervous system, and leave you feeling grounded, balanced, and restored.
Each session is completely bespoke - pressure, focus areas, and techniques are tailored to what your body needs most on the day. Choose a full-body massage or focus on key areas such as the back, neck, shoulders, or legs. Every session is a personalised blend of Swedish, Sports, and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) techniques, combining rhythmic strokes, targeted deep tissue work, and assisted stretches to relieve muscular tension, improve circulation, and restore your natural sense of ease.
History and background:
Massage has been used for healing and rejuvenation for thousands of years, from the structured movements of Swedish massage developed in the 1800s, to the dynamic stretches of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) rooted in ancient Indian tradition. My approach blends these time-honoured techniques - Swedish, Sports, and AYM - to relieve muscular tension, improve circulation, and realign the body’s energy flow. The result is a restorative experience that supports both physical recovery and emotional balance.
Yin Yoga – Slow, Meditative Yoga Practice
A slow, floor-based yoga practice that targets the body’s deeper connective tissues through long-held postures.
Yin Yoga helps improve flexibility, joint mobility, and overall body awareness, while promoting stillness and mental clarity. It’s a deeply introspective style of yoga designed to balance the fast pace of modern life - a perfect complement to more active forms of exercise or to support recovery and relaxation.
History and background:
Yin Yoga draws inspiration from both ancient Taoist philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine. It evolved in the late 20th century when teachers like Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers combined these Eastern principles with modern anatomy. The practice focuses on energy channels (meridians) within the body, encouraging harmony in the organs and nervous system. Unlike dynamic “yang” styles of yoga, Yin invites you to slow down, be still, and create space - physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Yoga Nidra – Guided Meditation for Deep Rest
Also known as yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that leads you into a state of profound relaxation - between waking and dreaming - where the body rests deeply while the mind remains aware.
Practised lying down or in a comfortable position, it helps relieve stress, improve sleep quality, and reset the nervous system. Each session leads you through stages of body awareness, breathwork, and visualisation to progressively quiet the mind and move the body into deep parasympathetic relaxation. The result is a feeling of weightlessness, clarity, and renewal - almost as though you’ve had a full night’s sleep in under an hour!
History and background:
Rooted in ancient yogic traditions, Yoga Nidra was refined in the 20th century by teachers such as Swami Satyananda Saraswati. The practice bridges modern neuroscience and traditional meditation, guiding you through the stages of relaxation that mirror the natural sleep cycle. It’s used today for managing stress, anxiety, and burnout by offering a safe, accessible way to rest deeply while remaining fully aware.
In recent years, the term NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest) has gained attention - particularly through neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman - as a science-based method to achieve the same brainwave patterns and recovery states observed in traditional Yoga Nidra. While NSDR is the modern, secular interpretation, Yoga Nidra is its original source, developed thousands of years ago within yogic traditions.

In-Home Treatments – Calm, Comfort, and Convenience
All treatments are offered in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to relax more deeply without the rush of travelling or the stimulation of a busy salon or studio. Many clients find they unwind more fully in familiar surroundings - moving straight from treatment into rest or sleep.
To ensure you receive the best possible experience, please note the following setup requirements:
Space requirements
For massage treatments, enough room is needed for a professional massage table with at least one metre of clear space around it for me to move freely.
For Yin Yoga sessions, please allow approximately 2.5 × 2.5 metres of floor space — enough for your mat and comfortable movement.
Environment
Treatments should take place in a quiet, clean, and calming room where you won’t be disturbed. For your comfort and safety, sessions can’t be carried out in shared or busy spaces where several people are present.
Parking and access
Easy, nearby parking is essential so that I can bring equipment safely and set up efficiently. Please ensure I can park close to your property and move equipment (such as a massage table) in and out without difficulty.
