Yoga is available to everyone, and establishing a simple yet regular practice offers us a myriad of benefits. It provides the physical benefits of improved posture, muscle strength & tone, cardio & circulatory improvement, improved posture and performance.
But it also offers, both directly and indirectly, a number of non-physical benefits, such as a powerful tool for dissipating stress, greater mental clarity and calmness, body awareness, relaxation and improved concentration.
In addition, the calm yet energised atmosphere of a yoga class guarantees a regular hour free of stress, noise, devices and distractions of modern life.
We each come to yoga for different reasons. That might be to improve flexibility and strength, gain a general sense of well being, or practice a method of relaxation. Whatever it is, I will guide you from the outset to ensure your practice best suits those needs and works within your own physical limitations.
As you continue and your practice evolves over time, we will bring in the wider aspects of the philosophy of yoga to gain a deeper understanding of body and mind.

These classes will teach you the foundations of yoga in the privacy and comfort of your own home, so you’ll be ready to join live studio classes post lockdown, or continue to build your practice at home. Each week we will focus on a few key yoga poses (asanas), breaking them down and helping you use your body optimally and safely in each pose, whilst working on strength and balance.

A relaxing and restorative mid-week practice, with deep stretching and a short meditation to close.
7:30-8:45am – Astanga, students with a regular practice. Email me to book.
A weekly class for anyone who knows the basics. You will be guided through the sun-salutations, standing postures and a selection of sitting postures and finishing postures in a continuous flow. As long as you are reasonably familiar with the sun-salutations, this class is suitable for you. Email or message me to book
